I am a Health Economics/Health Services Research PhD student at Brown University. My research interests are centered around antitrust, consolidation, and competition in healthcare. In my dissertation, I leverage large claims datasets to study the impact of insurer-hospital vertical integration using econometric causal inference methods. I have published 30 peer-reviewed manuscripts in leading academic journals including BMJ, Health Affairs, JAMA Ophthalmology, JAMA Network Open, and Cochrane. My research has been covered by U.S. Senate Budget Committee Report on Private Equity in Healthcare, Department of Health and Human Services Report on Private Equity, Financial Times, Forbes, Guardian, and STATNews.
